I would like to know whether we should write Lahoreju or Lahoru. This city in Pakistan is spelled with an E in the end, but we don't pronounce it. So, basically we pronounce it as LAHOR, therefore my question is, do we write Lahoreju or Lahoru.

The country Suriname is spelled with an E at the end in English, but again without pronouncing it. In Slovenian we write Surinamu, without the E. So, could this mean that Lahore becomes Lahor in Slovenia, just like Suriname is Surinam in Slovenian?
